Air Berlin connects Berlin and Madrid

From the 25th of February 2013, Madrid and Berlin will be connected with a daily direct flight operated by Air Berlin. The German company, even though it is considered a low cost airline, has its standards up to the top. During the flight, clients will be offered sandwiches and refreshments, which are included in the price. The German airline also offers the possibility of checking in one 23kg bag (except the Z class, HBY classes do allow 2 pieces of 23kg).

A Boeing 737-800 operated by Air Berlin will connect Madrid with Berlin every day. The timetable will be as it follows:

  • AB8080 TXL – MAD Departure at 08:50h and Arrival at 11:55h
  • AB8081 MAD –TXL Departure at 13:15h and Arrival at 16:15h

In addition, the new route perfectly connects with Air Berlin´s flight to Abu Dhabi and other destinations of Etihad Airways. Passengers can earn points through loyalty and point programs as well as with Etihad or Oneworld card.

Since the flight is around 3 hours long and it will be during lunch time, there will be the possibility to order special hot meals by GDS or directly from the company’s website.
