Emirates arrives in Barcelona and doubles Madrid frequency

Emirates on Wednesday announced the opening of a route between Barcelona and Dubai, after several months pending the availability of the fleet to set a date for the first flight, which will be July 3.

The Arab airline has also announced that its frequency doubled so far the only route to Spain, which runs from Madrid to Dubai, which will have two daily.

Emirates will operate both routes with Boeing 777 aircraft with capacity for 360 passengers, 50 of them in class or first. The second daily service from Madrid will be available from next July 1.

The new route between Barcelona and Dubai, the second daily service to Madrid and is available for sale both on the website of Emirates to travel agencies.
