Hungry for images in Barcelona? Visit World Press Photo.

Are you a photography enthusiast?  Are your eyes hungry for images?  If that is the case, we hope you have the chance to be visiting the catalan capital between  November 23rd and  December 18th, when Barcelona is to be hosting World Press Photo exhibition one more year.

The exhibition, sponsored worldwide by Canon and TNT,  is highly popular among professional snappers, photography fans as well as all those publics interested in the arts in general, for it shows not only a collection of wonderfully taken perspectives, but a full record of the most relevant world events of the year.

The show, running at the Centre de Cultura Contemporania de Barcelona has an admission rate of €5 and is accessible from tuesday to Sunday from 11.00 to 20.00 except for Thursdays when it does not close until 22.00.  The center is located at the heart of the city in the Raval, an undoubtfully curious neighborhood  in the city.  It has excellent communications with the city center by metro, bus and train.  Besides the exhibition, you will find plenty of other shows and activities to experience there.

Designed to be the showroom of the top quality photojournalism, the event becomes year  by year the experience of a global tour around the world’s most haunting, inspirational, sharp, moving, beautiful and even witty pictures of the previous 12 months.  Whether you are coming on purpose for the exhibition or you are taking benefit of your incentive travel to Barcelona to enjoy it…
