Renovated in 2005 by architects Virginia Figueras and Franco Corada, the Hotel De Las Letras in Madrid used to be the home of the Count of Artaza at the beginning of the 20th century.
Today, the building is included in the city’s heritage register and proposes a convention hall, a banquets hall, some meeting rooms, a library … Just reformed, this wide range of venues and the new lounge offer all the services and technology needs to host your event and make it a success.
The new lounge named The Bocablo can be seen as a window of light and serenity. Giving on the street, the interiors are made of white and featured a contrast with the purple velvet dressing the large windows and the beautiful wool rugs. Any celebration, presentation or meeting at Bocablo is sure to be different and unique!
The convention and banquet halls are located on the first floor and level -1 of the hotel.
On the first floor, the DL’s Room has 280 m2 in an open plan design with large windows onto Gran Vía that gives a unique view to observe and enjoy the city’s life. Moreover it offers a direct access leading to the hall directly from the street by going up by an impressive staircase. Panels can be fitted and it may be divided into three rooms perfectly equipped for all kind of events such as banquets, cocktail parties, dinners, working meetings, presentations, showrooms… The Letras room, on the same level, is ideal and more adapted for small meetings.
Finally, located on level -1 and separated from the other function rooms, the old Library features birch wood walls and a large meeting room. It is equipped with two computers and may be hired for work meetings as well as celebrations. As the Hotel De las Letras pays homage to the world of literature, its library is well renowned by literary authors and often chosen for interviews with writers.
