One of the newest, most innovative and colourful buildings in Barcelona, the Torre Agbar, will soon become a 417-room luxurious hotel owned by the company Grand Hyatt.
In the last years the Torre Agbar has become one of the architectural icons of Barcelona after it was inaugurated in 2005. During this time it has been the headquarters of the Catalan company Grupo Agbar, but also one of the buildings most liked by tourists. Thanks to the purchase by Grand Hyatt, now the Torre Agbar will become a tourist claim both outdoors and indoors.
The Torre Agbar was built by the French architect Jean Nouvel. It is the third longest building in Barcelona and it is situated in the 22@ area in Barcelona, also known as the “Innovation District”. This zone is full of hotels, offices and leisure places… 22@ is becoming the new center in Barcelona!
Due to the luxury of the hotel and the district where it will be located, the new Grand Hyatt Hotel in the Torre Agbar building is supposed to become the new sensation for tourists who visit Barcelona!
