The Basque Country represents a nice destination for team building and incentives thanks to this strong and original culture that just wait to be discovered and enjoyed but also for the multiple activities available. Here are some examples of what you can do with your team in this exciting region:

-       The route of the cider:

Cider houses are usually farmhouses which have all necessary installations to produce and bottle the cider. They also hold enough space to place some barrels and tables, where guests can enjoy their specialties. During the cider season (January-April) many Basques visit the cider houses to practice the traditional “txotx”, a beautiful and curious ritual. The owner of the cider house chooses a “kupela” (barrel) and shouts “Txotx!” inviting all guests to taste the cider. It is possible to drink as much cider as you want, there’s no limit!

Most traditional cider houses are located about 100 km from Bilbao. You will take the road towards Astigarraga, Gipuzkoa’s capital of cider which has about twenty cider houses where you can taste cider and typical food. Then, you will continue your way up to Santiagomendi. It is an area dominated by very old farmhouses with ancient presses and equipment to make cider. Road up, you will get to the Hermitage of Santiago, located on the Coastal Way of the Saint James to enjoy matchless views from here.
