Barceló Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of a new four-star-hotel in Madrid. Although by the moment it has not been published many details, we know that this hotel will be located in one of the corners of Plaza España, in the centre of the Spanish Capital City.
The hotel will occupy nine floors part of a legendary building in the city built by the property group Metrovacesa in 1957. The rest of the building are luxurious apartments.
The new Barceló Hotel will hold 256 rooms, a cafeteria, restaurant, spa and also meetings rooms. Therefore, this hotel is also supposed to be relevant for the MICE and incentive tourism in the city of Madrid.
