Barcelona, Sevilla, Valencia and the Costa de Sol are the top destinations for incentives trips in Spain. This is what the Business Hotels Collection (the company that brings together all destinations of MICE sector) has published in the last few days.
Spain is an example in the incentive sector because of the quality and quantity of convention centers, but the cities and the region previously said are undoubtedly those that are improving the most in this sector.
Why are these destinations in the top?
Barcelona: cosmopolitan, Mediterranean and dynamic city. Experienced place in MICE sector, it’s popular because it holds the MWC every year. Barcelona is also famous because of its important congresses centers as Fòrum or Fira de Montjuïc.
Valencia: more and more this city is getting important in all sectors of tourism, also MICE. It is well-connected with the rest of Spain and Europe by train, an international airport and port. The “Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias” is its best convention center.
Sevilla: the main qualities of Seville are climate and its cultural heritage. Trips and conventions are hold there during all year and Guadalquivir River (which crosses the city) is an attractive for all tourists.
Costa del Sol: it is the unique leading MICE destination in Spain which unites various cities and towns. It holds 5 congress centers built with modern infrastructures, so if we add to this the climate and the gastronomy Costa del Sol becomes one of the most attractive destinations in Spain.
