From 2 to 4 March E&TB participated in a fam trip to the city of Santander organized by the city hall of Santander and Cantabria Government committed to the Business Tourism.
Santander is now more than ever a city that moves, that looks to the future with optimism and enthusiasm. Their noble and royal past, which made of it one of the most important tourist destinations in northern Spain.
Embraced by the Cantabrian Sea, from north to south, the city of Santander has more than 5 kilometers of beaches, flowing through this silhouette, which has at its end the Magdalena Palace, which was the residence of the King Alfonso XIII and Victoria Eugenia.
Santander has green areas of natural beauty such as Jardines de Pereda, Mataleñas Park or Parque Las Llamas, in addition to the many attractions of a city, covering the MICE tourism, with an excellent local cuisine and activities leisure and cultural backgrounds like the Semana Grande, James Fair and the Fair Day, the Festival of Independent Theatre Arts Sample Santandero Fantastic (MAF).
The group during the Fam Trip stayed at the Hotel Santemar, had a private dinner at the Magdalena Palace, lunch at the Hotel Real, dinner at the Casino and farewell dinner in a Michelin star restaurant “Annua” in San Vicente de La Barquera. During their stay they visited the villages Santillana del Mar and Comillas and took the advantage to see the impressive facilities of the Comillas Foundation, perfect venue for business meetings, cocktail parties and events.
You can reach Santander from international destinations via Madrid or Barcelona or fly to Bilbao which is 1 ½ hours from Santander.
