Pop music, Rock’n’roll, Folk, classic opera … 2012 will be rich of important concerts for all music tastes. Most of the shows will take place in the greatest cities of our country such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia … So, have a look on the program below and do not wait to plan your trip in Spain for the occasion!
This year, Spain will welcome three of the biggest American pop stars of the moment! Madonna will be at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona the 20th of June to promote the 12th album of her carrier. The New-Yorker actress and singer Norah Jones will be on stage in Barcelona, the 20th of September and in Madrid the 23th of September. And finally, one of the 21 announced European dates of the The Born This Way Ball will hit Barcelona the 6th of October for a longed-for show of the eccentric Lady gaga.
If you are nostalgic of the old time and prefer the unequaled rock’n’roll of the 60’s, three shows are impossible to miss this year in Spain. “The Boss”, Bruce Springsteen will fire up the crowd through his two last dates scheduled in Spain: he will play the 2nd of June in Donostia-San Sebastian and the 17th of June in Madrid. After an apparition planned during the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim the 13th of July and during the Jardins de Cap Roig Festival (Costa Brava), Bob Dylan, folk/rock legend, will come to Bilbao on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Guggenheim Museum for a unique show the 11th of July. Then, in the continuation of his great return on stage in 2008, the Canadian Leonard Cohen will bring his songs and poetry to Barcelona, the 3rd of October and in Madrid, the 4th of October.
Along with his apparition at the festival Rock’n’Rio en Madrid, Lenny Kravitz, will do four concerts more in our country whose the last is in Barcelona this 3rd of June.
Opera also has some unmissable appointments in Spain. The most famous Barcelonian opera singer, Montserrat Caballé, will perform in Valencia, the 6th of June, in Madrid arena, with her daughter Montserrat Martí, the 9th of June, and in Marbella the 23rd of June.
Speaking about Spanish singer, the romantic crooner, Julio Igesias will also come back to Spain, in Barcelona for two dates, the 2nd and 4th of July at the mythic Gran Teatre del Liceu.
