The Formula 1 GP in Montmeló, one of the main motorsport events in Spain, is getting closer!
Spain has been always the right place for F1 fans. The first Grand Prix of Spain was held in the urban Circuit of Pedralbes (Barcelona) in 1951. Over the years, the scene of the race has been changing and took place in Jarama (Madrid), Montjuïc (Barcelona), Jerez (Cadiz), and nowadays it is held at the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmeló (Barcelona).
A season ago, there were two Formula 1 Grand Prix in Spain: the Formula 1 in Montmeló and the European GP in Valencia. Unfortunately, this last one, will be no longer celebrated. With no doubts, the race par excellence is the Spain GP in Montmeló.
Both, drivers and motorsports fans love the Circuit de Catalunya as it counts with 4.627 km length and it has 16 turns. It’s very remarkable because it is seen as an all-rounder circuit and is a thrilling final straight ending, where people get excited the most!
Beyond the twisty track and great drivers, this race is yearly scheduled in May, so people usually take advantage of the good climate at the Mediterranean coastline.
An experience of watching the spanish GP is highly recommended not just for F1 fans, but also for everyone!
