The new luxury tourist profile is characterized as a person between 33 and 45, less ostentatious trips, seek experiences, demanding personalized service, diversity and value for money. Here are some of the conclusions drawn by Condé Nast Johansens at the recent Hoteliers Convention organized in Sitges.
The collection of independent guides pointed out that the habits, customs, and travelers’ demands have changed, so that professionals must adapt to this new client, mostly from emerging markets to maintain their competitive edge. Thus, the new culinary travelers want a “special”, entering in the culture of the place to visit, traveling with your family or pet, the hotel meets Society Responsibility (CSR) and fixed at the luxurious details.
As for the origin of these potential tourists, Condé Nast has said that the travel and luxury hotels in Spain will draw travelers from the UK, Germany and France which will add other sending countries like Russia, China, Brazil and Scandinavia.
