It is well-known that Barcelona is one of the most popular destinations to hold congresses, conferences and other similar events, but there is something even more important we have already known: nine out of ten event organizers would chose Barcelona again. Physicians and new technologies professionals are the ones who most opt for this city.
The Barcelona official tourism organisation, Barcelona Turisme, has highlighted that not only the clime, gastronomy or rates are what bring so many people to the city, but also the highly qualified places and companies to organise their events.
Regarding the places, a lot of congresses and conferences are hold in the Fira de Barcelona, a new and innovative venue located in a perfect place: between the entrance to the city and the Barcelona Airport. One of the main congresses which take place in the Fira the Barcelona is the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
Furthermore, there are other venues usually used to hold events like the CCIB (Barcelona International Convention Center) or the Fórum, which can gather around 14,000 people.
