Ibiza means also congresses

Ibiza is not only the island of party and beaches. This is what we have always known and what we can assure now after knowing that 2014 is supposed to be the year with more events and attendants to this island.

In fact, last year was already good for the Meeting Tourism Sector in Ibiza. More than 50 conventions and congresses were celebrated there, in which around 6,000 professionals from all over the world took part in.

After being one of the destinations which has been present in this year’s IMEX Frankfurt, the Ibiza Convention Bureau –great responsible for Ibiza’s success as a congresses destination- has announced that Ibiza has presented new nominations to organize various congresses in 2015 and 2016.

The success of Ibiza in the Mice Sector is partly thanks to the good connection from April to October between the Balearic Island with the rest of Spain and Europe. It is especially important the direct connection with the London City Airport (the most central airport in the English Capital), and with The Netherlands, due to the Eindhoven Airport.

Furthermore, it has to be also mentioned the high quality of infrastructure for the Mice events which is offered by Ibiza with the Congress Hall of Ibiza or the FECOEF exhibition centre, among others.
