Madrid is the terraces capital

We love Spain because we love living outdoors, in parks, in streets, in squares, and, of course, in terraces. Spain is a country full of bars and restaurants with terraces in which people enjoy the good weather as well as food and drinks. The Spanish Capital, Madrid, is not an exception in the country. In this post we will recommend you some hotels with amazing terraces.

-          POSH AREAS

Hotel InterContinental Madrid: 150 people can fit at this terrace with garden, nature and fountains. There is a restaurant and a chill-out area where you can enjoy music played by a DJ (from Wed to Fri evenings).

Wellington Hotel: just in front of Parque del Retiro you will find this terrace, popular because they serve ecologic food. They have their own urban orchard!

-          GRAN VIA

Hotel Las Letras Gran Vía: join the terrace garden Ático11 to enjoy Mediterranean food and music. There are DJ sessions on Friday and Saturday.

Vincci The Mint: The Mint Roof is waiting for you, especially from Monday to Wednesday. Try the food trucks from the roof and enjoy the views of the Gran Vía.

-          PUERTA DEL SOL, THE VERY CENTER

Hotel Urban (picture): this large terrace is located very close to Puerta del Sol, with views of the Madrid City Centre. Visit it to enjoy a cocktail or to try original tapas, as well as to get relaxed at the zen place.

-          ATOCHA

RafaelHoteles Atocha: 500m2 of terrace, the largest one. Part of the terrace is covered with a roof to not stop the celebrations if it starts to rain. Here you can enjoy a cocktail, a gastronomic night or a party.
