The Meetings and Events Industry Forum, in which the Spanish DMC’s play a relevant role, have agreed to launch a new and more effective strategy to promote Spain as an unsurpassable destination for meeting and events trips. This decision has been reached in an official encounter between the Meetings and Events Industry Forum representatives and the Secretary of Tourism of the Spanish Government.
Apart from discussing about the plans to promote Spain abroad, the MICE Professionals and the Secretary of Tourism have agreed to publish a document to make clear which the impact of the Meeting Tourism Sector is in the Spanish economy. Results are supposed to be really good. Both parts highlighted their good working relationship.
