British Airways will operate a new flight connection between Federico García Granada-Jaen Airport (Granada, Spain) and London City Airport.

The frequency of this new direct link is five weekly flights, until August 31st, period in which the Airport could receive almost 2000 travelers from the British city.

From the 1st of September the frequency of the flights will be reduced from 5 to 4 flights every week, so around 1500 Londoner travelers are expected every week.

The agreement to set up this flight has been reached by the air company British Airways (which will contribute 50% of the investment), the “Consejería de Turismo y Comercio” (25%) and the “Patronato Provincial de Turismo de Granada” (25%). The total financing is €170.000
